The group of ladies do all they can each year for different charities and this year you are invited to join them at The Hardwick Arms in Streetly with proceeds going toward the payment of ground breaking treatment for Steve Hill at a London hospital.

Steve has been told the heartbreaking news that he has pancreatic cancer which is incurable and inoperable and that the NHS cannot help any further apart from chemotherapy.

After doing some research his family has found a private hospital in London that offers a new treatment called Nanoknife which offers treatment for people like Steve with some success stories.

A crowdfunding appeal raised £9,803 of £25,000 target. With fundraising for the treatment continuing, the Ascot Ladies Day Group have committed proceeds from the lunch to Steve’s cause.

The afternoon includes an awareness talk on pancreatic cancer, balloon release and of course horse racing. There will also be a raffle with lots of great prizes – but the organisers would still welcome more contributions in the form of prizes from both individuals and local businesses.

Tickets are priced at £25 and are available from The Hardwick Arms. Ticket price includes a buffet and glass of Presseco on arrival.
