Vintage and Arts Fair 2011

Fancy getting in vogue and not out of pocket? Sutton Coldfield’s much-loved Vintage and Arts Fair will be back in town this Sunday from 11-5pm.

This year’s fashion bonanza looks set to be bigger than ever, hosting a brand new ‘Bridal Boudoir’ as well as an eclectic mix of arts, fashion and jewellery.

With retro makeovers, lindy hop dancers and vintage tea shop, the fair will bring some much needed glamour to Sutton Town Centre.

Those hoping to pick up a bargain for the home won’t be disappointed either. The fair promises specialist items from organic cooking products to upcycled furniture.

The event organiser – Sutton Coldfield’s Sabina Gran – decided to hold a second fair after the success of last November’s event.

Speaking about the Vintage and Arts Fair, she said: “We’ve been overwhelmed with interest, it’s going to be an amazing day!”

The event has also offered local illustrators and entrepreneurs a unique opportunity to showcase their work.

Sutton- born vintage seller Kate Hook, is looking forward to holding her clothes stall ‘Off the Hook’ . She said: ‘It’s exciting to be a part of such a great event in my hometown – I’ll be selling vintage clothes as well as photo prints. Hopefully lots of people will come down!’

Doors at the Town Hall will be open from 11am to 5pm on Sunday 13th March, entrance will cost £1 per person.
