Middleton to Midleton ride in aid of Footsteps Counselling and Support

That’s right, it’s Midleton with one D that is the destination for a group of keen cyclists who are raising funds for charity.


This year’s bike ride will be from Middleton, Warwickshire to Midleton in Ireland’s County Cork. All funds raised will by the intrepid cyclists will go to Sutton Coldfield based Footsteps Counselling and Support.

The group will depart from Middleton, Warwickshire on Saturday 1st April and are due to finish in Midleton, South Eastern County Cork on Monday 3rd April; And no it isn’t an April fool! The riders will be covering just under 300 miles in total although at the time of writing, the exact route was still to be confirmed.

Saturday 1st April – Depart Middleton, Warwickshire to Liverpool Docks and overnight ferry to Dublin
Sunday 2nd April – Dublin – Kilkenny
Monday 3rd April – Kilkenny – Midleton, South East Cork
