The Town Council should be run for the benefit of all residents by the residents and should be open and transparent with decisions being taken in public and not in private meetings of the majority group.

Both faces of Sutton Coldfield Town Council were on show at the meeting held on Tuesday 24th January when an amended motion was approved to support the fight to keep a library service in the town centre.

Boldmere resident, Rebecca Clarke is calling upon Sutton Coldfield Town Council to reconsider its decision not to examine the option to have a children’s play area in the centre of the area.
Included on the agenda is the proposed closure by Birmingham City Council of the Sutton Coldfield Library.
